From 1912 to 2003, the country’s premier horseracing events were held at what used to be the San Lazaro Hippodrome in the heart of Manila. Today, a new kind of excitement and luxury stands at the same locale in the form of the 22-story Winford Resort & Casino Manila (WRCM).  

Now known as the San Lazaro Tourism and Business Park, the 40-acre ground where this luxury hotel is located is surrounded by thriving businesses, residential communities, and office spaces which was proclaimed a tourism economic zone with information technology component in 2009.

Opened in 2017, WRCM offers 128 spacious rooms and handsome suites, minus the prohibitive rate typical of a luxury hotel. Each one features sleek décor that incorporates subtle colors and themes for an Asian-inspired touch. Guests are invited to pamper themselves in the comfort of our Deluxe Room or relish the upmarket design of our Executive Suite.

Additionally, WRCM boasts a 700-seater ballroom on the fourth floor to accommodate weddings, parties, and MICE events, plus six food and beverage outlets each of which captures the spirit of the Filipino-Chinese community wherein it is situated, namely Hippodrome Bar & Lounge; Winford Cafe; Copa de Manila; Red Dynasty; Zabana Pool Bar; and Executive Dining.

Completing this world-class casino hotel complex are a three-level entertainment and gaming area, helicopter pad, heated swimming pool, gym and spa, retail outlets, an eight-level parking structure, plus a WRCM shuttle service that treats members and guests to free scheduled roundtrip transportation to the property from Caloocan, Bulacan, Quezon City, and other points in the Greater Manila Area.

WRCM is accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and, as of January 2024, has received the following ratings from various online travel agencies:
